Design Desk Service

We now offer our Design Desk as a FREE service to our partners! We’ll design the optimal solar system for your projects and deliver proposals that are ready to provide to the homeowner. Our team will create system designs tailored to your organization’s design preferences within your requested turnaround time.

How to Get Started:

  1. Contact your Account Manager to let us know you are interested in using our free Design Desk service.

  2. Your Account Manager will contact you within 48 hours to set up an onboarding session to collect your design preferences and ensure your team is ready to submit design requests.

  3. After onboarding, your team will have the ability to request and receive proposal designs directly within your EverBright account.

How to Access the Design Desk:

  1. Once your Design Desk service has been set up, enter the address, contact info, and usage information for the property.

  2. From the “Project” tab, open the Design Desk from the right hand menu using the “shopping cart” icon.

  3. Your custom Design Desk will open and allow you to input a new request.

 

FAQs:

  • Can I specify the information for the proposal?

    • At the time of onboarding, we ask your organization to define the parameters for system offset, desired equipment, finance products, and pricing. You will be able to specify a default rate to be used for up to 3 different system designs per request.

  • What is the turnaround time for proposals?

    • When submitting a Design Desk request, you’ll see a “Requested Completion Timeframe" field to select the urgency of the job. Options include "within the hour,” “one to four hours,” “four to eight hours,” or the “next business day.” This information will help EverBright’s Design Desk team prioritize the completion of requests as we strive to meet your selected timeframe. If “next business day” is selected, the turnaround time can be up to 48 business hours after receiving your request.

  • What if there are mistakes or revisions necessary on the proposal?

    • Our team is happy to make changes to designs; simply respond to your support ticket email to request any necessary revisions.

  • How do I add special notes for one-off situations?

    • You may include any special notes and upload files for an individual job during the proposal request and our team will ensure this is incorporated as much as possible.

  • Can my proposal design setting be different in different states or utilities?

    • Yes, we will work with you to ensure we have the specific details you use to design systems in all areas you currently do sales.

  • What if I want to show Solar and a Solar + Storage Proposal?

    • Our team is happy to help! This can be set up in the initial default setting or included in the special instructions.

  • Can I show a smaller system offset and a larger system offset for the same home?

    • Yes, you may set up your defaults to include up to 3 different system designs. Please note each unique system design will result in one proposal, so in this case, you will end up with 2 different proposals ready to show the homeowner.

  • Can I cancel a Design Desk request?

    • Yes, as long as the request status is “In Design” you will be able to cancel the request from the Design Desk accordion.
