How do I switch between different phases within a job?

There is more than one way to switch between different phases on a job. We added several ways to navigate jobs for easier access and a more seamless experience. Here, you'll learn how to navigate through jobs on EverBright like a Pro.

Navigating jobs through the Phase Tabs

The Phases are listed on the left side of the platform.

You can switch to each phase by clicking on the Phase tab corresponding to the Phase that you want to go to.

Greyed-out Phases and Pre-requisites

All phases remain greyed out until the Address Phase is filled out.

As you may notice on the screenshot above, some phases are greyed out. Since a quote is vital to generating a contract and proposal, the Proposal and Contract phases remain inaccessible until a quote is made.

After creating a quote, if a Contract Phase is still greyed-out, please go back to the Contact Phase and ensure that it is filled out.

You can navigate straight to the Quote Phase without a system design on the Project Phase, but since a design would ideally be needed to generate production values that would be used for the Quote phase, EverBright will generate a default usage and project data. Should you want to change this default data, later on, you may opt to make changes on the Usage and Project Phases, and the Quote phase will be revalidated to adjust to the new values — old quotes from the default values will be invalid, and new quotes will be based on the new system design/usage data.

Navigating jobs through the intuitive "next phase" button

There is an intuitive blue button at the bottom right of each phase. It changes once a phase is completed, according to the next best phase it deems best to go to. For example, after entering an address on the Address phase, this blue button will say "to Contact"

Note that this button changes when all necessary fields are completed on a phase. Since the contact details have not been saved here, the Next Phase button is greyed out. See screenshot for reference:

Since the Usage and Project Phases can be populated with default data, the Next Phase button won't be greyed out on these two phases, even when no changes are made or no system is designed.
