How is ROI calculated in the Proposal?

The ROI is a default for all proposals, under the Quote Details page. Thus, should you use a template copy of the standard EverBright Proposal, this will be included.

Here's an example:

How is it calculated?

It is calculated by the formula:

Where can I find these two values?

Total Solar Savings and Total Solar Spend could be found at the bottom part of Cash Flows on the Proposal, under the columns "Yearly Savings" and "Solar Bill" by default.

Here are screenshots for reference:

Case in point

If we see the ROI as earlier shown, it is equal to 80.23% for this job.

If we then use the formula above, let us see if we'll get this value if we divide the Total Solar Savings by Total Solar Spend.

Values:

Total Solar Savings = $25,468

Total Solar Spend = $31,744

Calculation:

ROI = Total Solar Savings/ Total Solar Spend

ROI = $25,468/$31,744

ROI = 0.8022933468

ROI = 80.23%
